Flipped Classroom A flipped classroom is a great example of a paradigm shift as it was presented as a paradox to the traditional approach to the teaching-learning process. The whole system turned on its head as the focal point shifted from the teachers to the students; from the homework to the classwork. Traditionally, students listen to lectures and take tests in class whereas reading textbooks and working on problems is set back at home. In contrast, flip teaching tends the students to first study the topic by themselves through various media like videos lessons on YouTube then later solve the problems and do practical work in the class.
